]]> Two-year-old Bishu is in lower kindergarten. He is an intelligent and active boy who is currently working on figuring out his numbers and alphabets (Nepali and English). Soon after his birth his young mother abandoned him and disappeared.  His home was destroyed in the earthquake, and Bishnu’s desperately poor, elderly father is in his 70’s and struggles to take care of his young son. Bishu has a nickname that means “King of Hearts” and he has been placed in a good school in the district headquarters.
